Who we are

Welcome to the 19th Royal Tunbridge Wells (St. Matthews) Scout Group, based in High Brooms! Every Wednesday, our dedicated team of volunteer leaders provides a vibrant and engaging programme for young people aged 6-14, across our Beaver, Cub, and Scout sections.

Our aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where young people of all backgrounds can thrive. We believe in learning through adventure, fostering confidence, and developing valuable life skills. From exploring the outdoors and making lifelong friends, to working towards badges and awards, our programme is designed to be enriching and fun. We pack our year with exciting camps, providing unforgettable experiences and opportunities for growth.

As a family-focused group, we warmly welcome parents and carers to join us on our scouting journey. Your involvement strengthens our community and enhances the experiences of our young members.

Deeply rooted in both High Brooms and Southborough, we are committed to making a positive impact. You’ll regularly find us actively contributing through various community projects and initiatives, including vital litter picks that help maintain our local environment. We are particularly proud of our dedicated participation in the annual Remembrance Parades, where our members pay their respects and honour those who have served.

Come and be part of our adventure! Join here.
